Mon Health Marion Neighborhood Hospital Premier Sponsor of the Feast of the Seven Fishes

Local healthcare facility gives back to the community

Main Street Fairmont is pleased to announce that Mon Health Marion Neighborhood Hospital will be the Premier Sponsor for the upcoming Feast of the Seven Fishes Holiday Celebration, December 9 – 11. The generous sponsorship of Mon Health and other community and civic partners has enabled Main Street Fairmont to enlarge the traditional celebration to a three-day holiday event this year. Highlights of the event include a screening of the Feast of the Seven Fishes movie, a two-day Hometown Christmas Market, our keynote event, the Feast of the Seven Fishes, and a free live Christmas concert for the community.

“We are thrilled to support the Fairmont community as lead sponsor for this year’s Feast of the Seven Fishes,” said Dr. Christopher Edwards, Chief Administrative Officer of Mon Health Marion Neighborhood Hospital. “Our commitment to expand access and improve the choice that people have in where they receive their healthcare is our priority. Mon Health has a long history of serving the Marion County community and we look forward to continuing to deliver the highest quality care in a state-of-the-art new hospital opening this December in White Hall.

Mon Health Marion Neighborhood Hospital is a full-service hospital located at Middletown Commons Mall in White Hall. This hospital will offer a full-service emergency department, comprehensive inpatient care, on-site laboratory testing, and pharmacy and diagnostic imaging to residents of Greater Marion County.

In addition to participating in various activities at the Feast, Mr. David Goldberg, Mon Health System President and CEO with Dr. Christopher Edwards, Mon Health Marion Neighborhood Hospital Chief Administrative Officer will serve as Feast of the Seven Fishes Honorary Marshals in the Fairmont Christmas Parade and the Blessing of the First Responders beginning at 5 PM on Saturday, December 11.

“We are overwhelmed by the generosity of Mon Health and other community partners,” said Tim Liebrecht, Executive Director of Main Street Fairmont. “Their dedication to our community and their giving spirit exemplify the importance of “family,” which is what the Feast of the Seven Fishes celebrates.”
