Support Main Street Fairmont's Beautification Efforts

Main Street Fairmont (MSF) was established in 1993 as a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to revitalizing downtown Fairmont. Following a comprehensive program called the Four Point Approach, MSF focuses on downtown revitalization through Economic Development, Design (Historic Preservation and Beautification), Promotion, Organization, (Fundraising and Volunteer Recruitment). Our non-profit volunteer organization provides services to downtown businesses including architectural design services, promotion of retail events, marketing of new businesses, and technical assistance.

In 2025, Main Street Fairmont was involved in many projects to improve Downtown Fairmont. We partnered with the City of Fairmont to install 60 hanging flower baskets throughout the downtown area to add color and curb appeal. Veterans Square Plaza was refurbished and given a fresh coat of paint during Tygart Valley United Way's Day of Action. We helped transform one of the downtown greenspaces for the holidays with the Lenhart Family as well as 12 local businesses to launch the inaugural Christmas Village and Light Show. In 2025, FIVE new business storefronts opened downtown including the relocation of Hermosilla's Deli, a beloved Fairmont Institution. We continue to work on bringing new events, business, and visitors to Fairmont's Historic Downtown to ensure the revitalization of the Friendly City.
