Hometown Markets Return

Main Street Fairmont is happy to announce the Hometown Markets will return this summer. Through partnerships with other community organizations, we are planning day-long events with something for all ages. Children’s games, farmers’ markets, Arts & Crafts, local entertainment are only a few happenings at the 2021 Hometown Markets. Main Street Fairmont hopes to add special attractions such as the Discover the Friendly City 5K and a classic car show, and the Frank-N-Stein Festival to the schedule if COVID-19 restrictions allow.

Main Street Fairmont is coordinating the Hometown Market schedule with Palatine Park to provide a full day of fun in Fairmont. Many of the Hometown Markets are scheduled on days that the park has scheduled evening concerts. Guests can spend a day enjoying the Hometown Market activities, grab dinner at a downtown eatery, and then enjoy a night of music under the stars at Palatine Park.
