Sponsors donate once and will be recognized all year
Fairmont, WV - Main Street Fairmont announces the opening of its annual fund drive along with major changes to the way in which sponsors are recognized. Rather than seek donations multiple times for individual events, Main Street has created an annual giving program. This program allows sponsors to donate one time and receive recognition for the entire 2022 season!
Corporate and individual donations, along with generous contributions from the city, have purchased NEW self-watering hanging planters to be installed in our historic downtown this spring. The baskets will be planted and placed in a local greenhouse. Once the outdoor growing season starts, the mature plants will be transported. Additionally all donations will be used to fund Main Street Fairmont events throughout 2022, including five Hometown Markets, the Friendly City 5k, the Classic Car Show, the Tomato Festival, Dancing in the Streets, the Hometown Christmas Market and the Feast of the Seven Fishes.
