Halloween Family Activities

October 13: WVU Medicine Trunk or Treat. Dress up, bring the family, and get ready to have fun! From 6-8PM in the Fairmont Medical Center lower parking lot! October 27: Marion County Public Library's Annual Halloween Family Fun Event. Dress up for a night of fun, games, and prizes from 5-6:30 PM in the alley beside the library! If you would like to volunteer to run a game at the event or have any questions about the event contact Christian Cox at 304-366-1210 ext. 113 or ccox@mcpls.org October 27 & 28: Marion County Historical Society 2023 Halloween Jail Tour. The Children's Hour will take place from 5 to 6 PM and the Adult tour will take place from 6 to 9 PM on both days. Admission will be $6 for children and $9 for adults. The event will take place at the Marion County Historical Society on 211 Adams St. Marion County's Dancing With the Stars

Happy October! It's DWTS month!! The teams are working extremely hard on their dance moves! Have you purchased your tickets for Marion County's biggest night of the year yet? It's going to be one for the record books! You still have time to purchase tickets, support your favorite dance couple, make your plans, and join the Marion County Chamber of Commerce and Tygart Valley United Way for one of the biggest nights in Marion County! marioncountydwts.com

Business Spotlight:

The Marion County Public Library is more than just books. MCPLS offers tons of services to the community from genealogy resources, board games, and their seed vault in collaboration with the Marion County Master Gardeners to eBooks and online language learning tools plus community events throughout the year. The Marion County Public Library invites you to be a part of their annual Halloween Family Fun Event on Friday October 27th from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM. The event consists of carnival games and is free to the public. They have games that they will provide or agencies can bring their own. Please go to mcpls.org to learn more about volunteering with this event. Hours Monday-Tuesday: 9AM-8PM Wednesday- Friday: 9AM-6PM Saturday: 9AM-4PM Thank you!

You can continue to support our events by signing up to volunteer with us through our website, and at our Hometown Christmas Market and 2 day Feast of the Seven Fishes!
