Hometown Holiday Celebration


Our Hometown Holiday Celebration Begins on December 7th! Mark your calendars, get ready for a weekend of holiday fun, and keep checking our website for additional information!




The Feast of the Seven Fishes

The official TWO-day Feast of the Seven Fishes will take place December 8-9. This year's Feast will include 20+ food vendors serving up a variety of your favorite Italian and fish dishes including sausage, baked goods, and hot sandwiches along with a variety of other delicious food options! We also have a fantastic lineup of entertainment taking place in both the Old Fairmont . Firehouse and Gatherings. See you on Monroe St!!!

Hometown Christmas Market

The Hometown Christmas Market is back this year with a variety of new and returning vendors! Get ready to shop through our Christmas market that will include a unique variety of 60 artisan & craft vendors. You are sure to find some great gifts for anyone on your shopping list! Santa Clause may also be making an appearance... all the way from the North Pole!


Festival Cucina


The wildly popular and currently sold out Festival Cucina, hosted by Bob and Shannon Tinnell, will be held on December 8 at 7 PM in the Immaculate Conception Church! The cooking school has an impressive menu this . year including drunken mussels, oyster stew, limoncello , baba cake and more!


Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 6 PM at the Green Space on Adams Street. Get ready to join the Fairmont Senior High School Madrigals in singing some Christmas Carols, drink some hot chocolate provided by The Joe, and watch the winner of the county-wide coloring light our Christmas Tree!





Business Spotlight: Yann's Hot Dog Stand

Yann's Hot Dog Stand is a longtime staple of Main Street. Their Delicious Hot Dogs are always in high demand, with the signature spicy sauce setting them apart from the rest. The newly painted crosswalk in front of Yann's is a reminder to "NOT" ask for ketchup. Make sure to check it out when you make your way over to 300 Washington Street! Hours Tues - Fri 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM


Historic Home Tours The Marion County Historical Society is still looking for homes and businesses that would like to be part of the Historic Holiday Home Tours on November 23rd. If you have a historic home or business that you would like to show off, call the Marion County Historical Society at 304-367-5398.



Main Street and Loving WV T-shirt Fundraiser We are SO excited to announce that Main Street Fairmont will be partnering with Loving WV in their latest T-Shirt release as a fundraiser for our organization. The pre-order will drop early this month and all proceeds will go towards funding Main Street Fairmont's programming, including the Hometown Holiday Celebration! The shirt will be available in 2 colors and would make a perfect gift for anyone who loves Fairmont! We would like to send a huge thank you to Loving WV for all their shenanigans help in creating the beautiful design and printing ...... the shirts!
