Fairmont Medical Center Sustaining Partner for 2022 Events
Fairmont, WV - Main Street Fairmont is pleased to announce that the Fairmont Medical Center will be the sustaining partner for all 2022 Main Street Fairmont events. At a recent Main Street Fairmont Board of Directors Meeting, Aaron Yanuzo, Vice President of Operations at Fairmont Medical Center, committed to funding Main Street Fairmont activities through 2022 at the highest sponsorship level. Sponsorships from Fairmont Medical Center and other sponsors will be used to support the organization’s Hometown Markets and Farmers Market, the Fairmont 5K, the Friendly City Car Show, Tomato Festival, and the Hometown Christmas Market and Feast of the Seven Fishes.
“Sponsorship of these events is another way for Fairmont Medical Center to give back to the community,” said Yanuzo, “We looked at the number and type of events proposed by Main Street Fairmont and found that these events promote exercise, the preservation of the area’s culture and promote a sense of community that is so important to us” he continued. “We look forward to financially supporting these events and also encouraging our employees to participate and become more active in the community in which they live.”
“We are very fortunate to have the support of Fairmont Medical Center,” said Dan Swiger, Executive Director of Main Street Fairmont. “Their partnership and support enable us to provide a year-long calendar of events for the community. Without corporate support, and the support we receive from the City and County, it would be impossible for our program to continue.” He said.
